@Julesyaz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Issues: Left-Hand Side of Emails Cut Off!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When printing emails, if the left-hand side is being cut off, there are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer settings are configured correctly. This includes checking the paper size and orientation in the print settings.

  • In Windows: Go to the Print dialog box, select 'Paper/Quality' or 'Paper' tab (depending on the driver version), and ensure the correct paper size is selected.
  • In macOS: Go to the Print dialog box, select the 'Paper/Quality' panel, and choose the correct paper size.

Adjust Margins: Sometimes, the issue may be caused by margins being set too narrow in the email client. Adjust the margins in the print settings by:

  • Accessing the email client’s print settings.
  • Setting wider margins to ensure no part of the content is cut off.

Fit to Page Option: Utilize the 'Fit to Page' or 'Shrink to Fit' option in the print settings to ensure the entire content fits within the printable area.

Printer Driver Update: Ensure that the printer driver is updated. An outdated driver can sometimes cause printing issues.

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest driver for the HP Color LaserJet 2820.

Print Preview: Use the print preview option before printing to check how the email will be printed. Adjust settings accordingly if any part of the email appears to be cut off.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
