Yes, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8138e All-in-One printer is compatible with macOS Ventura 13.6, here are the driver and software support for it.

Here is the official HP driver page for your model:

On this page:

  1. Select macOS Ventura from the dropdown if not auto detected.
  2. Download the HP Easy Start software or HP Smart app.
  3. This will automatically install the correct drivers and help you connect the printer.


Bonus: AirPrint Support

The 8138e also supports Apple AirPrint, so you can:

  • Print directly from any Mac, iPhone, or iPad without needing to install extra drivers.
  • As long as the printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network, printing should work automatically.


🛠️ Setup Steps for macOS Ventura

  1. Make sure your printer is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. On your Mac, go to:
    • System Settings > Printers & Scanners
  3. Click + to add a printer
  4. Select HP OfficeJet Pro 8138e (should appear automatically via AirPrint)
