@SUDHAKAR89, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Connectivity Issues with HP LaserJet M1005 MFP and Mac OS!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here's a guide to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the HP LaserJet M1005 MFP not printing on Mac OS:

Check Software Compatibility: Ensure that the HP LaserJet M1005 MFP printing-system software is correctly installed and compatible with your version of Mac OS. The supported versions for this printer are Mac OS X V10.3 and later versions.

Verify Printer Setup: Make sure the printer is correctly set up after installing the software:

  • Open the Applications folder.
  • Navigate to the Utilities folder.
  • Run the Printer Setup Utility.
  • Connect the USB cable to your computer and the device.
  • Turn on the device and ensure it appears in the Printer List.

Software Installation: Install the software as follows:

  • Insert the Macintosh software CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  • If the CD screen does not open automatically, double-click the HP LaserJet M1005 MFP CD-ROM icon on the desktop.
  • Double-click the Mac OS X icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
  • Once complete, click Restart.

Check Print Queue: If the document has printed but the print job has not disappeared from the spooler:

  • Ensure your Mac OS is updated to OS 10.3.3 or higher.

Remote Firmware Update: Ensure that the printer firmware is up to date using the HP Printer Utility:

  • Download the HP Printer Utility and the M1005 MFPFW.RFU file from the HP website.
  • Follow the steps to update the firmware.

Check USB Configuration: Sometimes USB settings can affect the connectivity:

  • Make sure USB Configuration is set to your preferences (Digital Camera or Disk Drive).

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
