Envy Photo Advanced Control 7155

PLEASE, Help Me With Figuring This Printer Out Because I Only Have Around 25 Days To Do So Or I'm Giving Up. That's Within The Refund Return Date. I've Tried The Internet, I've Watched YouTube Videos And I Didn't Find Much Help. I Called Geek Squad And A Few Other Companies, But They Weren't Going To Tell Me Anything Unless I Paid Them, Not Even A Thing About The Paper Sizes, Cord, Or Anything Else So Simply Simple.

What I'm Asking For Advice And/Or Tips On...

  • The Types Of Accepted Paper(s)
  • How To Connect This With My Cellphone
  • Where To Find A Cord To Plug My Printer Into My Laptop
  • If There Is ANY Website That Gives Completely, 100% Free Answers And/Or Advice

If You Think Of ANY Tips, Tricks, Advice, And/Or A Business To Go To, Tell Me...Pretty Please!

Do You Have This Same Type Of Printer?

Hi

No I definitely do not.

I just did my best to give you a starting point.

If in doubt please ask.

I remember how I felt after purchasing my very first printer... excited, but scared!

For text and visual aid, the first link that Lil_Boy_Blue gave you is the very best place to get answers from the manual and setup charts.. Be prepared to read them and then have to re-read them (or at least the most relevant parts to getting started). For video aid, the best place  is a YouTube search for setting up your printer model. On YouTube, just use a simple search term such as: Setting Up HP Envy 7155.

I did a quick search on YouTube that pulled up several available videos. Make certain you select a video using the same operating system that you use: Windows or Mac. There is even a video on how to use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to your phone.

Don't bypass those manuals and setup charts because they will come in handy helping you to better understand the videos!

Regarding a cord, if you are setting the printer up to use Wifi, then you shouldn't even need a cord (usb cable).

As far as paper, I would use a plain pack of white photocopy paper for my first few prints (and anything else later when high quality paper isn't important.)

As far as photo paper, it has been my experience that HP printers are pretty particular about using only HP branded photo paper. Using a different brand often results in poorly feeding paper and smeared ink. HP photo paper comes in several different grades. Grade determines printing quality and color longevity. For example: a higher grade will help ensure that great picture of you and your cat/dog is still sharp and clear 50 years from now.

I am an ordinary user who happens to be here in search of a fix for my printer problem. (A different model than yours.) I saw your post and thought I might help. Others might have an entirely different opinion than mine. Use what you find helpful and discard what isn't.

It has been my experience that HP printers are one of the easiest to setup. Best of luck and enjoy printing... when it works, its awesome!
