Hi @christophe68,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your Samsung Xpress M2830DW printer is showing an error saying “Your printer has been deleted” and is asking for a WPS PIN from the documentation. Let’s go through a few steps to get this fixed and reconnect your printer.

a. Understand the WPS PIN Prompt

The WPS PIN message appears when the printer is trying to connect to your Wi-Fi network using the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) method.

The PIN is generated by the printer itself, not printed in your documentation.

b. Locate the WPS PIN on the Printer

On your printer’s control panel, press Menu → Network → Wireless → WPS → PIN Method.

The printer will display an 8-digit PIN on the screen for about 90 seconds.

Enter that PIN on your computer or router’s WPS setup page to complete the connection.

c. Reinstall the Printer Driver

Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers → check if your printer appears.

If it shows as deleted or unavailable, right-click and remove it completely.

Download the latest Universal Print Driver (UPD) for Samsung printers (now supported by HP) from the official HP support site.

Run the installer and select Wireless or Network Connection when prompted.

d. Add the Printer Manually (if needed)

Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers & Scanners → Add device.

Choose Add manually → Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname.

Enter your printer’s IP address (you can find it by printing a network configuration report from the printer’s menu).

e. Check Network Settings

Ensure the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

If you changed your router or Wi-Fi credentials recently, reset the printer’s network and reconnect.

To reset: Menu → Network → Clear Settings → Yes. Then, set up Wi-Fi again using the WPS or manual method.

I hope this helps.
