HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn

Dear HP Support Team,

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am encountering while trying to install the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn printer on a Windows 11 system.

I have downloaded the latest printer drivers from the HP website and followed the installation instructions carefully, but the installation process fails to complete. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, including restarting the computer, disconnecting and reconnecting the printer, and using a different USB port, but the issue persists.

I have also checked the HP support website for known issues with this printer model and Windows 11, but I have not found any relevant information.

I am requesting your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn is an essential tool for my work, and I am unable to use it effectively without being able to install it on my Windows 11 computer.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with specific troubleshooting steps or guidance on how to resolve this installation issue. I am available to provide any additional information that may be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Hello @Mossii ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB and/or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
  2. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
All printer software must be removed.
  3. Restart the PC
  4. Close all programs
  5. Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted.
  6. download only this complete package: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127/128 Series Full Software and Drivers
only: right-click on the EXE and then "save as ...", folder: Download
  7. Close all programs
  8. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
    File name: LJPro_MFP_M127-M128_full_solution_23199.22.21.exe (125.8 MB)
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted.
  9. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  10. Restart the System again
  11. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

I hope this works.

Kind Regards
Andr-1611
