I am getting a no driver available message in device manager, when I install the software package available on line. When I troubleshoot the problem, Win 10 gives me a message that the driver is not digitally signed. Is there a driver out there that will resolve my problem?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing difficulty installing the printer driver on your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check whether the issue is resolved.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from this Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
Run PSDR v5.0.2
Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status.
Select the correct Printer and click on Next.
PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing
Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page.
Regardless if PSDR printed the test page or not, click on “NO PRINT”
PSDR will then notify you that there is an update available, click on continue, and PSDR will apply the patch and ask for a reboot.
Post restart the PSDR will run automatically to check for more issue. If no issue found close PSDR.

Hello,
I am still having a problem with my printer, as Win 10 Pro 64bit continues to show a message below the printer, that the
"Driver is Unavailable". The strange thing for me is that the Fax, and Scan drivers seem to load without fail. This is becoming extremely frustrating, as I have tried several possible scenarios with regard to diagnostics, without success.
Someone please help me, I would really appreciate it very much....!!!!
By the way The_Fossette, you sent me a link to 5.0.2, but it ran as 5.3, over and over again. Still no print, or even a test print.

Follow the below steps to uninstall the printer and then install it again and check if it helps.
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %temp% in the run field, and click OK.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
Run the uninstall_ L4.bat
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %programfiles% in the run field and click OK.
Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.

Hello The_Fossette,
I found 59 folders in that %temp% directory, that start with 7z. None of those folders have a util folder. Most of them have a utils folder, but not all. none of those utils folders have a subfolder CCC. There are also 70 HP temp files in the parent directory that have 0 bytes. There are also 123 files that are named mst_debug- with different numerics after the dash. Since this is a temp directory, can the files within be deleted? There are 29 additional folders in it, and multiple individual files, many with 0 bytes. What do you think? This is really becoming a huge can of worms for me, and I would like to get them all back in the can....LOL....!!!!

Yes, I recommend you delete all the folders and then try installing the printer and check.

Hello again,
The deletion of all folders di not work for me. I not only deleted all folders, but removed and re-installed the HP printer package. I am convinced that Win10 is not seeing a signed driver from the package. As I mentioned before, the OS recognizes the fax, and canner drivers, but not a printer driver. It continues to list it as unavailable. I really am stumped with this, as I too was in the IT field for 25 years, and have never come across something that I could not resolve. I really am not sure how to get a resolution to this issue. I need a printer that will work, but cannot afford to purchase another one. This printer works fine on the laptop I have, but that machine has Win 7 on it.
If anyone has any suggestions for me, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I recommend you create a new user account on the computer follow the steps in the below article and then install the printer on the new user account and check.
