Hello. I work in a small office on a US Military Base overseas. I bought a used german printer that I thought would allow US ink cartridges. We use our business card to purchase things through the on post shop, and our on post shop has the ink cartdriges, but they are the american version.
Can I please request a region change for this printer so I can use the US cartdriges I have access to? HP Cartridge 67. Thank you.

For anyone that finds this thread, they were unable to change the region, and I was unable to use the US ink in the German printer. So unfortunately, I have lost $30 on trying to buy a used printer, and have now bought a new US printer ($50) that uses the same US ink (HP 67), but am having problems with THAT printer recognizing the ink.

Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:
1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

@Hawks_Eye,
I input in the values as you sent in the private message and continually get an error message for the device region reset. Your values DID result in the correct 5 digit code so everything was input correctly each time.
I first tried with the cartridge installed, then restarted the printer and tried again with the cartridge installed, and then restarted printer and tried twice with the cartridge uninstalled.
I sent you a private message showing the error and I look forward to the next steps. Thank you.
