The company covering the requests with QR code charged me $49.99; the printer did not work after trying for 7 hours. I returned the printer and contacted HP about reimbursement $49.99. Subcontractor Digisoft did not reimbursed. I also had to pay $200.00 for cleaning my computer. Any way HP can honor st least partially this request.

Need more details, is this a new printer install? Where did you get the QR code from? It sounds like you have been hookwinked by one of the many questionable support companies that present themselves in such a way that you believe you are dealing directly with HP or that they have been authorized to help you. I have escalated your post to the moderators as HP takes these types of issues seriously and they may reach out to you via private message on this forum for more details.

Who did you purchase from. Sounds like someone putting their own code in the box. I have never seen a qr setup code in a box but that said I deal more with commercial Laserjet and designjet.
