HP Deskjet F4140
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have HP window 7 Home premium  & HP Deskjet F4140, so if copy/paste my word page to an email , send it , I can then pull it up from my sent folder & it will print, or  I receive an email I can print that. I went thru the HP doctor, it would print the test pages -- thru all 4 ways... I tried by removing my 'free McAfee" as stated on one  support page- that didn't work either--

  2. Under User Accounts and Family Safety, click Add or remove user accounts.

  3. Click Create a new account.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to print from MS word on HP Deskjet F4140 printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  1. How is the printer connected to computer, USB or Wireless?

Meanwhile:

Click here and follow the steps mentioned in the document to fix this issue.

(Note: Though the title of the printer is different, these steps should fix the issue)

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

, connected by USB,...so I tried the Print spooler process, I had reinstalled it before,  I did disable the firewalls, in fact deleted MCAfee anti virus, as someone suggested. not exactly sure how to log into window using another account as I am the only user on this computer, when I tried to  get to the  System File checker, I got to the command prompt window - no SFC /scannow so I tried SFC -- a window flashed but none I could see or keep so I could see if it was  doing anything
