There's not a lot of detail in your post but I had a hell of a time trying to complete the installation. There seems to be some disconnect between the software (smart) and the printer. It looks like the process completes, the software says "all good, let's go" but the printer says no. This manifests as a E9 error on the 6000 Envy series and a "incomplete setup" on the 7900. I also think this happens if you already have a HP printer on your network.
So what I did was:
Remove all traces of the software from my laptop and my phone
factory reset the printer
install the software and login
Only then turn the printer on and proceed thru the install process
That worked for me.
