Hi @Michael-6-,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To help you connect your HP ENVY 6022e All-in-One Printer to the internet, please follow these steps.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is working properly by checking if other devices can connect.
  • Make sure your printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer by turning it off, unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
  • Restart your router and any devices connected to the network.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart app on your computer, phone, or tablet.
    • For Windows or Mac: Download from the HP website.
    • For iOS or Android: Download from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Open the HP Smart app and select Set up a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • If your printer is not in Wi-Fi setup mode, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons on the printer until the Power button starts flashing. This resets the network settings.
  • Try setting it up through the HP Smart app again.

Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure your router's 2.4GHz band is enabled (many printers do not support 5GHz networks).
  • Disable any MAC address filtering on your router that might prevent the printer from connecting.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date by checking through the HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
