Welcome to the HP English Community --

The printer supports the paper size as a "Custom Size".

The printer supports various paper types and weights.

On a first check, I do not find information on minimum margins --

Depending on the printer, these might be a tenth to a half inch on a side.

?

"Correctly" might mean anything from alignment -- the content does not align on the paper as expected.

This could come back to a margin limitation OR be due to the 2-sided aspect of the task.

What?

Folded card printing in PDF and on really small paper can result in weird, forced, larger margins on at least one or both sides.

Folded card printing might mean you want to print on both sides of the paper.

The printer might not support automatic 2-sided printing on small paper.

Ideas - FYI -

Solution might include one or more of:

  • Printing one side of the paper and then the other, paying attention to the orientation of each section on a given side (front / back).

  • No automatic 2-sided printing?  Adobe Reader > Booklet can perhaps complete the task by setting up the job as a normal booklet print job and then using "Page Range" to print on side in one job, remove, flip, and print other side (Pages 3-4) in Job two.

  • Can't make this work using small paper?  Print in Booklet using Adobe Reader -- Print in a scale that would fit the content onto the paper size you want.  Might work, though I've not tested whether / how the alignment would work.

  • Printing to bypass "too large margins" on small paper when printing in PDF format might require that you create and then print the content instead as an image -- which will then also require that you create the sections manually to account for orientation, and the print one side, flip and reload paper, and print the other side.

  • Printing to bypass "too large margins" might be possible in Word.  The results, of course, depend on the margins supported by the printer.   In general, Word does include a Booklet option.

AI generated summary - Print Word Booklet

To print a booklet in Word, first set up your document by going to the Layout tab, selecting Margins, and choosing Book fold. Then, when ready to print, ensure your printer is set to print on both sides of the paper, flipping along the short edge.
