I can't remember the password from the admin interface. How do I reset my password?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If you open the front cover of the printer - as if to remove the print cartridges - you will find the default EWS password (it's actually a PIN number) printed on the right, along with your printer's serial number.

Thank you for your help Betty.

There is no pin located anywhere located inside that compartment. There is a label with a barcode and a 9 digit code with letters and numbers.  This number is different than the model and serial number of the printer.

To help the troubleshooting let me clarify my need....

I moved and with that came a different WIFI.  I'm trying to login into the printer web portal and it is asking me for the user and password to allow me to make changes.  The same request is made if I use my MAC WIFI sort up wizard.
