My printer suddenly stopped printing photos and sometimes regular documents. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I was able to get the documents to print a test page once then it got stuck in the queue again. I tried to print photos and it won't pass the printing queue. I can't seem to update my driver as it can't find it or doesn't work. I've read through all the questions relevant and all documents relevant but at this point, I am at a loss, I know I can fix this, I went to school for IT but at this point I need help..
"This firmware upgrader does not contain upgraded firmware for your device" is what I get as well.

@ashleedinsmore2, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are having intermittent printing issues with the printer. It seems like the printer is up to date. Hence, you are not able to update the firmware.
- Which application are you trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
- How is the printer connected to the mac?
- If you are using the HP Smart app to print, have you tried installing the printer using Airprint driver and check if that helps?
Check for any software updates on Mac
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
Note: Select "Bonjour multifunction" under kind while installing.
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
