I cannot get my printer to recognize our new network.  I have an iMac desk top and my printer has previously worked on my previous network.  I have a new network, still with the same provider, COmcast, but have been unable to get my printer to work on the new network and I know nothing about this kind of stuff.

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

There are two ways you can connect the HP Photosmart C4780 printer to a wireless network, we can either use a temporary USB connection to connect to wireless in the printer software or we can use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). In order to use the WPS, your WiFi router needs to have a WPS button. Step 1 on this document has instructions on Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) as well as temporary USB connection to connect to wireless in the printer software.

Let me know how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
