@D_J_T_44, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're having trouble locating the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options while setting up your HP Smart Tank 7605. Let's walk through the steps to get you connected:

Step 1: Enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode on the Printer

  1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button (📶) and the Cancel button () together for 5 seconds.
  2. This will restore Wi-Fi setup mode, allowing your printer to be discoverable by the HP Smart app.

Step 2: Use the HP Smart App to Connect

Download and install the HP Smart app on your phone or PC:

Open the app and sign in or create an HP account.

Tap “+” to add a new printer.

The app should detect your printer in setup mode. Follow the on-screen steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Bluetooth Clarification

The HP Smart Tank 7605 does not use Bluetooth for printing. Bluetooth is only used to help the HP Smart app detect the printer during setup. Ensure:

  • Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or PC.
  • Location permissions are granted to the HP Smart app (especially on mobile devices).
