Hi @JohnM32,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To remove a printer you no longer own from your account and dashboard, especially for an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-In-One Printer, you will typically need to follow a few steps. This process usually involves accessing your HP account online or using the HP Smart app, depending on where the printer is registered. Here's a general guide on how to remove the printer:

HP Account Online:

  • Go to the HP website and log in to your HP account.
  • Navigate to the section where your registered products or printers are displayed. This could be under "My Devices" or a similar section.
  • Find the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 in the list of your registered devices.
  • Look for an option to "Remove" or "Delete" the printer from your account. This option may be represented by a trash can icon or might be found in the printer's settings menu.
  • Confirm the removal when prompted.

HP Smart App (if you used this app to manage your printer):

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • If you're not already signed in, log in with your HP account credentials.
  • Navigate to the printer management or devices section within the app.
  • Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer that you want to remove.
  • Look for an option to remove or delete the printer from the app. This could be under "Printer Settings" or a similar menu.
  • Confirm your choice to remove the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
