@KJ996, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To disable the Auto-Off feature on your HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer, you can try one of the following methods:

Method 1: Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Find the Printer's IP Address:

  • On the printer's touchscreen, tap the Wireless icon to view the wireless summary.
  • Note the IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.100).

Access the EWS:

  • Open a web browser on a device connected to the same network.
  • Type the printer's IP address into the address bar and press Enter.

Navigate to Power Settings:

  • In the EWS, go to Settings > Power Management.
  • Click Schedule On/Off or Auto-Off.
  • Disable the Auto-Off feature or set it to Never.
  • Click Apply to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the HP Smart App

  1. Download and open the HP Smart app (available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).
  2. Select your HP ENVY 4520 printer.
  3. Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings.
  4. Navigate to the System tab > EcoSMART Console.
  5. In the Auto-Off/Manual On dropdown, select Never.
  6. Click Apply.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
