I cannot use my new printer

I bought this printer last night and set it up it said it was connected etc but I couldn't print and now it says not connected. I have been at this for hours I called the 855 # only to be hung up on twice!!! I am ready to return it and buy a Canon. I am so annoyed right now its not even funny!!
