why isn't the HP app compatible with this version of Mac OS?

Hi there,

 

The HP app is compatible with macOS  12.0 (Monterey) and later.  You should be able to download it from the App store here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hp-print-and-support/id1474276998?mt=12
