Hi everyone. I have a problem with my printer: i recently changed my router and I wanted to connect my printer to the new network, so i connected my smartphone to the printer's WiFi direct and opened the settings. The issue is that when I try to open the printer's network settings it asks me a custom admin password that I don't remember. Is there a way to restore my printer to factory settings, without knowing the password? And, if yes, do I need to first remove the printer from my HP instant ink account? Thanks!

@Ciao2, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to access the wireless settings on the printer's EWS page. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Once the printer is reset, it will not be enrolled in Instant Ink anymore. You will have to re-enroll the printer. There will be no charges.
For assistance, refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
