Product: office jet pro 8620
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

 About a month ago I started getting a message that the print nozzle was either not properly installed or missing.  I tried removing the cartridges and reinstalling them.  This worked a few times.  Now I have to power the printer off and back on to clear the problem.  Is there a fix or do I need a new printer?

HP Recommended

The fix is to replace a printhead, but that will probably cost you more than buying a new printer.
