I ketp having all kinds of issues with the software.  I did the upgrade to the latest 10.5 version.  A clean build nothing n it but this software.  the software doesn't find any devices.  It actually finishes the scan in about 40 seconds which I know it can't possibly scan that many printers in that short amount of time.

 

Looking for ideas on what might be setup wrong.

Lest just look at a few basics to try to sort this out.

 

First just to verify you want to ensure the build you are running is 12.5. SR 4 the current build.

 

Second ensure you have opened all of the necessary ports on the server firewall and network switches firewall if necessary.

 

Third go to Tools --> Options --> Discovery --> IP Range --> IP Ranges and ensure you have the correct scopes listed where you have HP printers.
