Holding down the power button and then the cancel button for three seconds and releasing has not resulted in a factory reset

Hi @Santanbobby,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

It can be deeply frustrating when the usual reset sequence doesn’t respond. Let’s walk through the proper steps to restore your HP DeskJet 3755 to its factory settings, with both the official method and a more forceful “hard reset” as a backup.

Official Factory Reset (using HP support guide)

  1. Open the cartridge access door.
  2. On the control panel, press and hold both the Power button and the Wireless button for at least 3 seconds.
  3. Wait about 20 seconds, then close the cartridge access door.
  4. The printer will reset and restart.
This clears network settings and general configurations.

Hard Reset Alternative

  1. Ensure the printer is turned ON and paper is loaded in the tray.
  2. Press and hold the Power and Cancel (X) buttons together for about 15 seconds.
  3. Release both buttons.
  4. The printer light will flash and should print a reset information page, indicating completion.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
