Hi @Princess1984,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Smart Tank 5101 does not have a specific preset for sticker paper in its print settings, but you can still print on sticker paper by adjusting a few general settings. Here's what you can do.
Load the Sticker Paper: Ensure that the sticker paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray, with the print side facing up (check the paper's packaging for orientation).
Select the Paper Type:
- Open the HP Smart app or go to Print Settings on your PC.
- Choose Photo Paper or Other Matte as the paper type. Sticker paper generally has a matte finish, so this setting will give you the best results.
Paper Size: Select the paper size that matches your sticker paper (e.g., A4 or Letter size, depending on the paper you're using).
Print Quality:
- Set the print quality to Best or Photo Quality to ensure the colors come out vibrantly.
Check for Paper Jam/Handling: Sticker paper can be thicker than regular paper, so be mindful of paper jams or issues with the printer feeding it.
After adjusting these settings, you should be able to print on sticker paper without issues. If you're still facing problems, you could try manually selecting "Custom" or "Other" under paper types and adjusting accordingly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
