I have replaced the cartridges ( genuine) and cleaned the printhead. The menu is "frozen" such that I cannot access other menu functions. When I place the old (used) cartridges in the printhead, the supply system error also appears. Totally a circular reference. Are to any options available to me apart from getting a new printer?

I have tried all the HP online advice multiple times include what is nominated above. I have replaced cartridges (all genuine), checked for leaks, cleaned all contacts, reset printer head, cleaned printer head - all done multiple times.

The supply system error still exists.  What have I missed? Surely there is a simple answer.
