Office Jet Pro 9018 all in one printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was trying to hook up my Office Jet Pro 9018 all in one printer with my new HP Envy.  I went to the HP website to download the appropriate driver software for this printer. But in that process a blue error code appeared on my printer and it will not go away. The error code is 04304661.  I cannot get rid of it . Have turned the computer off and on and disconnected and reconnected the power cord. Nothing works.  My computer does not recognize the printer. It is permanently offline. I can no longer  use this printer that was working fine (but without the software downloaded to my computer) 10  minutes ago. I am out of warranty and cannot get HP help. Is there anything I can do or should I just go ahead and throw out the printer and buy a new one because it is fried?

I have the same issue. My printer went out of warranty in June, so I cannot even get a support number to contact.

@Andyih, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that the printer is in an error state and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
