HP Smart Tank 670

I have a problem when installing the HP Smart application on my iPhone, the message to complete the configuration kept popping up, when I clicked the error EBS00P0013 appeared. Has anyone had such a problem and know how to deal with it? Disconnecting the printer and re-adding it to the application did not help. The printer prints using airprint but the application still displays an error.
how to deal with it.

Hi @Mike83306,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error code "EBS00P0013" in the HP Smart app on an iPhone typically appears when there is a configuration issue preventing full setup or connection. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Update HP Smart App: Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app. Go to the App Store, search for HP Smart, and update if necessary.

Reset Network Settings on iPhone: Sometimes, network settings can interfere with the app. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. After resetting, reconnect your iPhone to the WiFi and try the setup again.

Remove and Reinstall the Printer in HP Smart:

  • Open the HP Smart app, delete the existing printer from the app.
  • Turn off your printer, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Re-add the printer to the app and see if the error clears.

Restart Network Devices: Power off your router, modem, and the printer. Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn them back on. Once your network is up, try connecting again through the app.

Use an Alternate WiFi Band: If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, try connecting your iPhone and printer to the 2.4GHz network, as some printers connect more reliably on this band.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your iPhone.
  • Restart your iPhone, reinstall the HP Smart app, and try adding the printer again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
