I have laser 281cdw. When I sent print request from Apple computer I get message Load Tray, Plain, A4. Paper is loaded in Tray 2. Not using manual feed Tray 1

Make sure the papers is loaded correctly in the tray. Refer to page 14 of the user guide to know how to load the papers in both the trays.

Check the print settings on the app you are using to print. Make sure the correct paper type/size and tray is selected.

Update the printer firmware

Check the paper type setting on the printer

1. Open the tray.

2. Verify that the tray is loaded with the correct type of paper.

3. Close the tray.

4. Follow the control panel instructions to confirm or modify the paper type settings for the tray.
