I have setup the HP Smart Tank 7002 printer and printer is printing OK. However, the HP Smart app still says ‘finish setup’. When I select it, the app does not do anything... just ‘spins’.

Hi @jf05 

1. Sometimes this happens when the printer is not registered to HP account and is showing that message.

 

2. But that registry is optional, and you can use your printer normally, like you've already done.

  • Well, you may know "if aint broke dont fix it".

3. However if you still want to finish setup you may need to repeat setup process and connect again your printer like the first time.

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
