I have the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw. It keeps giving me an error saying Resend upgrade.

I can't seem to fix the 'Resend upgrade' error on my printer. It won't work. It is so frustrating.  I can't seem to get in touch with a human to help. I see others with the same problem, no solutions offered.

I understand you are getting an error message "Resend Upgrade" on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

• We have to perform a Reset.
• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
• I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The link to the reset did not work. I received an error that said I do not have permission to perform that service.
