I have an Envy 6055e which suddenly stopped working.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the hp123 app and the printer.  When I go to install a new printer it goes through all the steps but gets hung up on the "Finish Setup."  The printer shows that it is online but it will not go through this last step.  I get an error message.

  • Update firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve performance.
  • Reset the printer: You can try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
  • Check for driver updates: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
