Is this a popup on your computer screen? If so it may just be a phising attack. (bad players posing as good guys to trick people) to try and gain access to your computer or to pose as helpful techs and charge you a bunch of money for a non-existent problem. Hard to say without seeing the actual error message you are seeing.
