Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The printer keeps showing the message, "Indicated cartridges blocked for containing a non-HP chip."

I need a downgrade firmware download file (.exe) for my hp Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw printer.

I can't find the download file. Can I get a link?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I'd like to help!

 

Most recent HP printers do not allow firmware downgrade. They have built-in code that checks the version of the download and will not accept any firmware that is earlier than the current version. 

 

To assist you better, I would need a few details. 

 

Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges?
