My HP Office Jet Pro 8600 printer was working just fine until  I changed from Comcast to AT&T internet.  I have called HP tech support serveral times and they keep hanging up on me because when I try to give them the Serial Number they just hang up:

Serial number is [personal info removed] and I realize that your Insta Ink does not work for this machine; but, I still need to fax and scan from this machine.

My HP7855 printer is still being used by me with your insta ink program.

I need someone to HELP Me Please!!!!

Hi @OcracokeUSA

Officejet 8600 is more compatible to work on Wifi networks that has 2.4 Ghz connection.

Check when following Wireless Setup Wizard that you are selecting the Wireless network 2.4.

Try steps in the next video:

...

Maybe you need to ask for support on your wireless connection with AT&T support and ask about setting up a 2.4 G network or ask about some configuration related to "Band Steering" in AT&T modem router, maybe to disable that option.

If you know your Modem Router configuration, you can do it by yourself with the steps in the next link:

>> Router configuration change to disable Wifi Band Steering

And  If you need more help you have options to contact HP Support:

* Click YES   to say thank you,

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
