I am trying to setup add features to my printer and it is asking for a custom password.  I tried 123456789 and I tried the PIN that i found on the printer.  I am out of ideas as to where to find this password or what it might be since I have exausted all of my resources.  I have done several google searches, as well as searching through the support.

Thank you for the but that isnt the password I am looking for. I have been trying to setup the scan to email feature as well as some other features.  I get a message that they are locked out by the administrator.  But I am the administrator and I didnt setup a password.  Please help either find the password or can I remove it by taking it back to factory?

Hi @bobbyallum,

 

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much as you are looking to setup a password to lock your printer when you are not using it.

 

Refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults and let me know if that resolves the issue.
