I need to scan two email which requires you to enter a pin when I press the button to send me a new pin. I never get that email and there is no bypassing the pin number step.

Hi @OrangeIguana,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble receiving the email with the PIN required for scanning with your HP Envy Photo 7858 printer. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, emails from automated systems like printers can end up in the spam or junk folder of your email inbox. Make sure to check these folders thoroughly.
  • Verify Email Address: Double-check to ensure that the email address associated with your HP Envy Photo 7858 printer is correct. If it's incorrect, you won't receive the PIN email.
  • Resend PIN: Some printers allow you to resend the PIN email. Check your printer's settings menu for an option to resend the PIN email, and give it another try.

If none of these steps work, it might indicate a more significant issue with your printer or its email functionality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
