Printer will not work, HP APP cannot fix it and after reinstalling it, says the driver is unavailable.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the "Driver is unavailable" issue for your HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer on Windows 11:

Uninstall Existing Printer Drivers

  1. Press Windows + R, type control printers, and press Enter.
  2. Right-click on your HP ENVY 6055e printer and select Remove device.
  3. Press Windows + X > Device Manager.
  4. Expand Print queues or Printers, right-click any HP entries, and choose Uninstall device.
  5. Restart your computer.

Download and Install the Latest Driver

HP recommends using the HP Easy Start tool, which automatically installs the correct drivers and software.

Official HP® Support

  1. Click the link above and download HP Easy Start.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.

Use the HP Smart App (Recommended)

The HP Smart App helps manage your printer, scan, print, and troubleshoot issues.

  1. Install the app and sign in or create an HP account.
  2. Add your printer and follow the guided setup.

Check Windows Updates

Optional – Update Printer Firmware

Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause driver issues.
