Hi @Banni2191,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Access the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  1. Connect to your printer: Ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  2. Find Printer IP Address: Locate the IP address of your printer. You can find this on the printer control panel or by printing a network configuration page.
  3. Open Web Browser: Open a web browser on your computer.
  4. Enter IP Address: Type the printer's IP address into the browser's address bar and press Enter. This will open the EWS.

Configure Email Settings

  1. Navigate to the Email Setup:
    • Once in the EWS, look for a tab or menu option related to Email Setup or Digital Sending.
  2. Enter Email Settings:
    • Configure the following settings as required:
      • SMTP Server: Enter the address for your outgoing mail server (SMTP server). You may need to get this information from your email service provider.
      • SMTP Port: Enter the SMTP port number. Typically, this is 25, 465, or 587.
      • Authentication Required: Enable this option if your email server requires authentication.
      • Username and Password: Enter your email account username and password.
  3. Test Email Configuration:
    • Send a test email from the EWS to ensure all settings are correct and the printer can send emails.

Save and Exit

  1. Save Settings: Ensure you save any changes made.
  2. Printer Control Panel: You can now use the email features available on your HP MFP 3101 from the printer control panel.

I hope this helps.
