Hi @G5j38a1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Enlarging a pattern on a scanner involves ensuring that the entire pattern is captured within the scanning area. Since you want to enlarge it by 200%, you need to position the pattern in a way that it fits within the scanning area and allows for the enlargement.

Please help us with the Printer serial number or the product number on a private message for further assistance. As we will be able to check the details of the unit.

Here is the link to find the product number:- Click here

Here are some steps you can follow in the meantime:

Check the Scanner Specifications: Review the specifications of your HP OfficeJet wide-format scanner to understand its scanning capabilities, including the maximum scanning area.

Measure the Pattern: Measure the dimensions of the pattern you want to enlarge. This will help you estimate how much space it will take up on the scanning bed.

Adjust Scanner Settings: Before placing the pattern on the scanner, adjust the scanning settings to enlarge the image by 200%. You can usually find these settings in the scanner software on your computer.

Place the Pattern: Open the scanner lid and place the pattern on the scanning bed. Align the pattern so that it fits within the scanning area. You may need to use the markings on the scanner bed to ensure proper alignment.

Preview the Scan: Use the scanner software to preview the scan. This will show you what the final scanned image will look like on your computer screen. Make any necessary adjustments to the placement of the pattern to ensure it's fully captured.

Scan the Image: Once you are satisfied with the preview, proceed to scan the image. The scanner will capture the pattern according to the settings you specified.

Save the Enlarged Image: After scanning, save the enlarged image to your computer. You can then use it for your quilting project.

If your scanner has a preview feature that shows the scanned image on your computer screen before the final scan, take advantage of this to position the pattern correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
