I want to print via USB on my old Windows machine.  I’ve tried picking “print offline” on the printer status, tried two different printer cables, uninstalled/reinstalled.  Still will only print when online.  Any ideas?

HP Recommended

You can do this by doing a second printer installation and setting the default to be usb.  Change the name of the second printer to be xxxx_USB to distinguish it from the online printer

Took me a few tries, but finally got the “second” printer set up.  That did it.  Thanks
