Hi I wish to delete my HP account as I have shifted countries and have sold my printer to someone else, however they are having issues to subscribe to the instant ink feature. I checked my app etc. and it does not show the printer anymore and the ink plan is cancelled as well.

@Aannya, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

We see that you have cancelled the instant ink program, just make sure that you that you have done the following steps,
To cancel:

  1. Sign into your account:
  2. Verify the serial number by selecting Overview, and then Printer Details in the Status area.
  3. Click HP Instant Ink, then Update Plan in the left menu.
  4. Scroll to Plan Details.
  5. Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription and then follow the prompts.

You receive an email confirmation immediately, and another at the end of the billing cycle.

And once this done and confirmed, ask the new owner to restore the printer to default settings and then use the printer with original cartridges and then try.  Which cartridges work with my HP printer? | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
