Hi @Loopylyn,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
It can feel tricky when trying to install a printer driver, but I’ll guide you through it step by step to ensure your HP 2600 All-in-One printer works with your Windows 11 laptop.
Check for Compatibility
- Confirm that your HP 2600 All-in-One printer is compatible with Windows 11. The HP website usually lists supported operating systems.
Download the Latest Driver
- Visit the HP Support page and search for your printer model (e.g., "HP 2600 All-in-One").
- Download the latest Full Feature Software and Driver for Windows 11.
Run the Installation File
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation.
- During setup, you will be prompted to choose a connection method (USB or Wi-Fi).
Connect Your Printer
- For USB: Connect the printer to your laptop using a USB cable when prompted.
- For Wi-Fi: Ensure the printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You may need to use the printer's control panel to connect it to your Wi-Fi first.
Set the Printer as Default
- Once installed, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners and ensure your HP 2600 is set as the default printer.
Print a Test Page
- Open the printer settings and print a test page to verify the setup.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
