Yes, you can set up your HP DeskJet 2622 All-in-One Printer without the setup ink cartridges, but there are some limitations:
 

What You Need to Know:

  1. Setup Cartridges Requirement – HP usually provides setup ink cartridges with new printers, which are required for the initial setup process. If you don’t have them, your printer may not complete the setup properly.
  2. Using Regular Ink Cartridges – In some cases, you can use standard HP 65 or HP 65XL ink cartridges (for the DeskJet 2622 model), but the printer may show an error or refuse to complete setup.
