iOS

iPad does not show Smart App, but when I go to IOS download website it says I already have it.

only way to open it is go to IOS downloads website and open it from there. It cannot be found in the iPad apps.

it does not  behave properly but as the app is not shown on ipad I cannot delete it to install a fresh Smart App.

HP themselves are no help at all. If your question is not one of their favourites chosen by them, you cannot ask it of them.

I see that you are facing issues with HP Smart app.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall HP Smart App:

 

Step 1: Uninstall HP Smart App.

On the home screen, tap and hold the app, and then tap Remove App > Delete App > Delete.

 

Step 2: Reinstall HP Smart App.

1. Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com (Android, Apple iOS, iPad OS), 

or HP Smart - Microsoft Store (Windows), 

or HP Smart - Mac App Store (Mac).

2. Open the HP Smart app.

3. The app searches for recently installed printers.

- If your printer displays, click it. If you are setting up a new printer, it might display with Set-Up under the name.

- If your printer does not display, click the Plus sign, and then follow the on-screen prompts to add your printer or set up a new printer.

Thank you but you are not getting the point at all.

 
It does not appear on the home screen at all. It is nowhere to be found.
 
This is why I cannot uninstall or delete the app.
 
Either it is invisible or it s not in the ipad.
 
As I keep saying, the only way to access it is to go to the download app and see it.
They are sure I already have it so will  not let me download it.
All that web site (following a link that says 123 something)  is "Open " nothing else.
So if I tell the download website (yes) Open,   It then opens in my ipad.
This the only possible way I can open it.
 
There are only two possibilities, a bug or glitch in the ipad or in the HP software which cannot be found.
 
You do realise dont you that the ipad system is very different to Windows.,you dont have the same options
Like control panel. An iPad is very limited compared to the Windows system
Possibly a Mac computer has more options than an IOS ipad, but I do not have a Mac.

I JUST CAME BACK TO SEE IF TO IF THE SCREENSHOT OF THE 223 HP app website screenshot was posted.
This website page refused to snow the screenshot I made and posted here to show you what happens every time on that 123  WEB PAGE.
