Hello I bought a genuine HP printer and also a genuine HP replacement toner but both of them are from different regions so they are not compatible

 

please can you tell me how I can fix this issue. do I need to upgrade my firmware?

I would contact the vendor and demand that they replace with the correct toner cartridge. Otherwise you will have this problem the next time you buy a cartridge and it is for another region. You can only change the region code a couple of times before it is locked to that the last region you changed it to.
