Dear HP Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to request your kind assistance with my Instant Ink enrollment. Earlier today, your customer service team was incredibly helpful and successfully performed a regionalization reset on my printer to change its region from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom.

However, I am currently stuck in a dilemma trying to complete the online Instant Ink registration. Because the printer's region is now updated to the UK, it is rightfully rejecting my old Hong Kong cartridges and displaying an "Incompatible Cartridges" error.

The online system requires the printer to be in a fully functional status with compatible cartridges before allowing me to complete the enrollment steps. Since my goal is to subscribe to the Instant Ink service, I would prefer not to purchase standard retail UK cartridges just to bypass this initial setup error.

Could you please kindly assist me by manually bypassing this error from your backend system, enrolling my printer into the Instant Ink plan, and triggering the shipment of the Instant Ink Welcome Kit to my UK address?
I would be truly grateful for your understanding and manual override on this matter so I can start using your wonderful service.
Thank you very much for your time and continued support. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kindest regards,
Zenith

Hi @Zenithting

To complete this procedure, you must contact HP in the printer's country of origin and request regionalization for your new location.

Once completed, you will be able to print.

Best regards
