Thank you for reaching out!

If you're encountering a message indicating incompatible scan drivers despite installing the latest driver for your HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s4 Sheet-feed Scanner on Windows 11, here are several troubleshooting steps you can follow:

  1. Verify Driver Version: Ensure that you have the correct driver version installed for Windows 11. You can check for the latest suitable drivers on the HP Support website for your scanner model.

  2. Uninstall and Reinstall the Driver:

    • Go to the Device Manager on your computer.
    • Locate your HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s4 under scanners.
    • Right-click on it and select Uninstall Device.
    • Visit the HP Drivers page again and download the "Full Feature Software and Driver".
    • Reinstall it following the on-screen instructions.
  3. Check Windows Updates: Make sure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date, as sometimes Windows updates can fix compatibility issues.

  4. Reset the Scanner:

    • Turn off the scanner, unplug it, and wait for about 60 seconds.
    • Plug it back in and turn it on.
    • Try to scan again to see if the issue is resolved.
  5. Use Compatibility Mode:

    • Right-click on the driver installation file.
    • Select Properties > Compatibility tab.
    • Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode", and select a previous version of Windows.

Please keep us posted if this helps or if you need any additional assistance
