Hi @iamsilly ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've set a password for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-In-One Printer using the HP Smart app and have forgotten it, you may need to perform a factory reset on the printer to remove the password. Please note that a factory reset will erase all the settings on your printer, including wireless network settings and any custom configurations.

Here are the general steps to perform a factory reset on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e:

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
  2. Press the back button (arrow icon) on the printer's control panel to navigate to the main menu.
  3. Select "Service" or "Support" from the menu.
  4. Find and select "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Reset."
  5. Confirm that you want to restore the factory defaults.

After the factory reset, your printer should revert to its default settings, including removing any password that was set using the HP Smart app. Keep in mind that you may need to set up your printer again, including reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
